Welcome to my Roots Blog!
Though I sing and butcher many great songs on my guitar, I do not claim to be a singer, songwriter, or musician.
What I am is a passionate fan of roots based music and art and love to share that with others.
I love to travel and attend all sorts of music festivals, jams, pickins', house concerts so that I can tell my friends about the great people I met along the way.
Being that my day job allows me to reduce my work load and pursue my passion of music on a part time basis, I have decided to pursue a Masters in Folk at UNC Chapel Hill next year. Let's hope that academic approach they will require of me doesn't interfere with some good ole knee slapping experiences sometimes.
So check out my blog as often as you can. In the future I will also post links and reviews of festivals, concerts, cd's, etc.
